Had a great convo with the current maintainer behind Muse this week. Amongst the insightful things shared, we talked a good bit about a gradient of software which ranges from meditative/contemplative on one end (where Muse is) to that which is more productivity and collaboration-oriented on the other. When people have said they have a hard time figuring out Muse, I argued they do because thereās very little contemplative software. Thereās stuff for meditation. But, not software, spaces, or affordances in which the connections made through deep thinking is the outcome, not output.
